Chhaava (lit. transl. Lion Cub) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language historicalaction film based on the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, played by Vicky Kaushal.
It is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant.

Pre-production began in April 2023 and filming commenced in October 2023 and ended in May 2024.
The film score and soundtrack album are composed by A. R. Rahman while the lyrics are written by Irshad Kamil. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on 14 February 2025.
