Recently, veteran actor Farida Jalal expressed her disappointment in Yash Chopra and Karan Johar for misleading her with promises of roles that never materialized.
Talking about Karan Johar, Jalal said that the director called her to offer a small role in Student of the Year.
She accepted, only to be left disappointed when the offer fell through. “I’m very hurt, I’ll say it loud and clear. They were beginners, and we were there to hold their hands. At a certain point, an actor also needs to be held,” Jalal said.
Now, in a new interview with Bollywood Bubble, Jalal praised late producer Yash Johar, saying that she had a longstanding working relationship with him, which she feels wasn’t honored once the son took over Dharma Productions.
